More to come later, but here's one.
They say the sky reflects the sea
Or the sea reflects the sky
Or the woman reflects man and
In the end we reflect
Just how many times we’ve been dirtied through
So sky, Mistress Sky
Mademoiselle Ciel,
Let this be for you,
One day upon the sand I rested, wary
Of days to come and the forgone canary
Of mines collapsed and loss of sky
Misstress, I was terrified you’d lied
That the blue skies again at dawn
Had never meant to be redrawn
Retracted from a darker time,
Sea-salt flavor and ice like lime
I pondered on the sand and waited,
For the thing that couldn’t come,
For a hunger left unsated.
Carpe diem, seize the day
Momento mori, there’s no real point
Mistress Sky, for you I pray
Mademoiselle Ciel, a pocket full of coins
Will carry me to you
As the sky goes Prussian blue
It’s difficult to want
For anything more pure
Then to receive not one more taunt
And for loneliness’ only cure
Carpe diem, take what’s yours
Momento mori, we all die
Mistress Sky, like this sea’s distant shores
Mademoiselle Ciel, we know the sun won’t rise
So take me into your deep blue eyes
Take me away from the darkened skies
Give me something I can hold
Don’t leave me feeling quite this cold
Don’t leave me singing nothing gold
Nothing, nothing, nothing gold
Can stay here to make me sway
Mistress Sky, take me away
To a land where the prophets predict the rise
And fall of the chest of the sky
Mistress Sky, you took me away
To the land where the prophets predict the rise
And fall of the chest of the sky
Where softly whispering, your breath sighs
And your life to me is not a lie
So finally, the sun did come
To the sound of your heartbeat’s soft thrum
So by chance I met the goddess of sky
And by chance I helped the sky to dye
Bright blue like my mistress’ eyes
Up and down like breath soft sighs
Carpe diem, I’ve seized the day
Momento mori, no one dies
Mistress Sky, I’ll serve your way
Mademoiselle Ciel, it’s only you who flies
Touch my hand once more,
Nil sine numine,
Help me again and teach me to soar,
Nothing without this mistress of mine
I’ll serve my best, and only in kind
To my mistress who’s so inclined
They say the sky reflects the sea
Or the sea reflects the sky
Or the woman reflects man and
In the end we reflect
Just how many times we’ve been dirtied through
So sky, Mistress Sky
Mademoiselle Ciel,
Remember, try to shine through the sky
And never, never, reflect
Be yourself, please don’t lie
You are absolutely perfect
They say the sky reflects the sea
Or the sea reflects the sky
Or the woman reflects man and
In the end we reflect
Just how many times we’ve been dirtied through
So sky, Mistress Sky
